Terms of use and sale — business customers

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Translation of the French document for ease of reading. The original French text remains available by selecting Français.

These terms govern the use of Medusar (the “Service”), published by Nicolas HEDOIRE EI (the “Publisher”; see the legal notice). Creating an account means accepting these terms. If you disagree with any of them, do not use the Service.

The Service and its subscriptions are exclusively intended for professionals acting for the purposes of their business. By creating an account or subscribing, you confirm that you act in this capacity and are authorised to bind your business.

1. What the Service does

Medusar turns a brief into a presentation: a language model writes the slides and spoken script, a teleprompter scrolls through the script as you speak, and your browser combines the slide and webcam into a video. The Service also offers exports (PDF, HTML, JSON and image) and, if you connect a channel, optional publication of the video on YouTube.

The Service is a writing and recording tool. It does not provide advisory services, its automated reviews involve no human verification by the Publisher, and it does not certify what you publish.

2. Your account

  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract and provide a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
  • An account is personal. Sharing it, reselling it or opening multiple accounts to circumvent plan rules is prohibited.
  • You can close your account at any time by contacting nicolashedoire@hotmail.com.

3. AI output and what is not guaranteed

Presentation content is generated by a language model. It produces plausible text from your brief and may use the documents you provide, without verifying their accuracy or automatically browsing the web. You should expect and prepare for the risks listed below.

The Publisher therefore gives no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, currency, originality, regulatory compliance or fitness for a particular purpose of generated content.

Generated content is not professional advice. It is no substitute for a lawyer, accountant, doctor, financial adviser or other regulated professional. Do not use it or present it to your audience as such.

  • Factual errors: incorrect figures, percentages, dates, amounts, or names of people and businesses.
  • Invented sources, quotations, studies or references, even when they appear precise and credible.
  • Outdated claims, because the model was trained at an earlier date.
  • Shortcuts, approximations or biases inherited from training data.
  • Wording unsuitable for your industry or the rules that apply to you.
  • Different results from one generation to the next for the same brief.

4. Your responsibility for what you publish

You are the sole author and publisher of what you distribute using the Service. Before sharing with a client, on social media, in training or in a tender, you must carry out the checks below.

You indemnify the Publisher against any third-party claim, action or judgment arising from content you have distributed, including the associated defence costs.

  • Read all generated text and make the necessary corrections.
  • Check every figure, date, quotation and source against its original source.
  • Ensure compliance with the law applicable to your activity and audience, including advertising, claims, prospecting and regulated professions.
  • Ensure you hold the rights to everything you add: trademarks, logos, images and excerpts.
  • Disclose AI assistance when required by law or your professional code.

5. Prohibited uses

  • Producing or distributing unlawful, defamatory, hateful, misleading or disinformation content.
  • Presenting generated content as verified expertise, a study or an official document.
  • Entering third-party personal data, health data or confidential information you are not entitled to use in a brief.
  • Circumventing quotas, probing the Service’s security or extracting its content in bulk.
  • Reselling access to the Service or incorporating it into a competing service.

6. Intellectual property

You retain the rights to your brief and the text you write yourself. The Publisher claims no rights to presentations generated from your briefs: you may use, edit and distribute them, including commercially.

However, the Publisher does not guarantee that generated content is original or eligible for protection. Model output may resemble existing content, and copyright does not necessarily protect purely automated output. The software, Medusar brand, slide templates and visual identity remain the Publisher’s property.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided as is, on a reasonable-efforts basis. It depends on third-party hosting, model and payment providers whose unavailability may interrupt it. Maintenance, changes or removal of features may occur. Technical quotas limit hourly and daily requests to preserve availability for everyone.

Your browser stores recordings on your device. Clearing site data or changing browser or computer removes them: you are responsible for downloading the takes you wish to keep. When you request publication on YouTube, your browser sends the take directly to Google; the Publisher holds no copy and cannot restore it.

8. Limitation of liability

The Publisher is not responsible for the consequences of you or a third party distributing unverified generated content, including published factual errors, decisions based on incorrect figures, reputational damage, client claims or sanctions.

Indirect losses are also excluded: loss of revenue, customers, opportunities, reputation, data or recordings.

For professional uses, the Publisher’s total liability on all grounds is limited to the amounts you actually paid during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to gross negligence, intentional misconduct, bodily injury or where mandatory law prohibits them.

9. Plans, prices and payment

Discovery access lets you view the demo and templates, manually edit presentations, use the teleprompter, microphone and webcam, and download your creations. No free AI credits are granted at sign-up or monthly. Manual creation and editing use no AI credits.

All subscriptions include built-in templates, slide and teleprompter text editing, AI voice, microphone, optional webcam, and watermark-free PDF and video exports. Backgrounds and fonts of an imported PDF template stay on the device where it was imported.

The same credits cover document analysis, writing, review, translation and AI voice. Usage depends on the content and processing requested; no fixed number of presentations or voice minutes is guaranteed. Technical document size and format limits apply to every plan. VAT is not applicable under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code; this appears on the invoice. The total due and billing identity are shown before you confirm an order.

Credits are reserved before each AI operation; the debit is then adjusted to measured processing under the Service’s credit schedule. Available balance excludes pending reservations. Where the provider has not yet returned a usable measurement, the reservation remains pending verification. Processing already performed may use credits even if a later step fails or is cancelled.

Subscription credits expire at the end of the paid period and do not roll over. They are not money, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. No automatic paid overage is triggered: insufficient credit prevents starting a new AI operation.

Stripe processes payments. The Publisher stores no card numbers.

The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the app. Access remains available until the end of the paid period, without a prorated refund.

You can request a plan change from your account. Upgrades are billed immediately on a prorated basis for the remaining period, according to the summary shown before confirmation. Additional credits are prorated to the amount actually paid excluding tax under the new plan’s schedule and granted after payment confirmation. A change does not grant a second full monthly allowance. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; the current plan applies until then. Current-period credits keep their original expiry date and do not roll over.

Prices may change; any change is announced before it applies to your next renewal.

  • The Essentiel subscription costs €49 per month and includes 1,000 AI credits per paid monthly period. It supports up to 1 document(s) per analysis and up to 3 languages simultaneously. Adaptation to an imported PDF template is not included.
  • The Pro subscription costs €149 per month and includes 3,500 AI credits per paid monthly period. It supports up to 5 document(s) per analysis and up to 8 languages simultaneously. Adaptation to an imported PDF template is not included.
  • The Business subscription costs €349 per month and includes 8,500 AI credits per paid monthly period. It supports up to 5 document(s) per analysis and up to 8 languages simultaneously. Adaptation to an imported PDF template is included.

10. Performance and commercial terms

Credits are granted after Stripe confirms invoice payment. Unpaid invoices grant no credits. The service is fully digital, with no physical delivery or shipping fees. Customers create and download deliverables in their browser.

Payment is due on subscription and each monthly renewal. No early-payment discount applies. Any discounts are those shown and accepted in the order summary.

For late business payments, penalties accrue at the European Central Bank refinancing rate applicable at the beginning of the half-year plus ten percentage points, with a fixed recovery compensation of €40, as provided by law. The Publisher does not automatically debit extra charges under this clause.

As this is a professional offer, no additional contractual withdrawal right is granted. Any mandatory rights applicable to a particular situation remain unaffected.

11. Personal data

Processing of your data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

12. Suspension and termination

The Publisher may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, unlawful use, non-payment or attempts to circumvent limits, after notifying the user except in an emergency or where required by law.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. Users are notified of material changes before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance; otherwise you may cancel.

14. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In a dispute, an amicable solution will first be sought by contacting nicolashedoire@hotmail.com.

If no amicable agreement is reached, jurisdiction is determined by the ordinary rules of law. The Service does not offer sales intended for consumers.
